New partnership allows Greenwoods Communications
to offer one-stop-shop for voice & data products - 25th August

| Greenwoods Communications,
the UK's leading independent telecoms services company,
can now provide a full range of data communications equipment
following a new partnership deal signed with voice and
data communications specialists Austin Taylor. The deal
will see Greenwoods acting as a one-stop-shop for a full
selection of Austin Taylor's data communications products,
ranging from one-off connectors through to complete systems
for major installations. |

Based in North Wales, Austin Taylor has been supplying
voice and data communication equipment ranging from line jacks through
to sockets and adapters for almost 60 years.
Both companies will use the partnership to build their presence in
the small-to medium installer and electrican market.
Speaking on the signing of the agreement, Managing Director of Austin
Taylor, Paul Gaskell commented, "We are delighted to have signed this
agreement and look forward to working with Greenwoods. We believe
that this arrangement will be an excellent way of broadening the reach
of our products to a much wider audience, especially considering the
quality and quantity of clients that Greenwoods does business with."
Greenwoods Commercial Director, Peter Skinner says: "With the emergence
of voice over IP (VoIP) services finally coming to the fore, we need
to be ideally placed to supply not just the large operators but also
the small to medium installers. While we've had a lot of experience
of supplying equipment for large data communications installations,
this deal will open up a new market for us in an area we've not had
much exposure to in the past."
Greenwoods chose to partner with Austin Taylor after careful consideration
of a number of aspects including product prices, location and technical
competence.
"It was vitally important that whoever we chose
as a partner could offer not only the products at a competitive price
but also the technical know-how to support them," adds Skinner. "Austin
Taylor ticked the right boxes on all fronts." |
