Greenwoods Communications - a leading independent
network solutions provider to the communications industry - today
announced the continued expansion of its fibre termination facility,
a custom-built centre that takes high quality cable materials and
assembles them into a usable fibre optic product. The focus is on
producing bespoke 'plug and play' fibre optic solutions, and drawing
on over four years of experience to deliver excellent product quality
within a competitive price structure.
During the past four years the Fibre termination centre has continued
to flourish. We continuously monitor our processes and production
techniques, which leads to increased efficiency, reduced costs, and
constant quality improvement of our products. We focus on providing
bespoke 'plug and play' packages that mean our customers get a ready-to-go
fibre solution, tailor made to meet their needs" commented Adam Ashenden,
Project Manager.
With analysts predicting worldwide annual growth in optical networking
of 12% to 2009, it is essential that fibre optics providers are able
to meet this demand with continual improvement in the quality of product
while maintaining price levels. Greenwoods is responding to the growth
in the market by investing in the facility to ensure greater efficiency
and extend their fibre termination capability.
Greenwoods' fibre termination facility guarantees the quality of its
end product by ensuring that the process is right from start to finish.
Using only the best products such as cable from Pirelli and connectors
from Radiall, all the way through to installing mechanical processes
for cable stripping and adapting their polishing techniques, the fibre
termination facility has demonstrated its ability to react to the
needs of the marketplace. In the last three years, Greenwoods' fibre
termination capability has grown two-fold, and continues to do so
in response to increased demand. This increase in capacity means two
things; firstly it allows Greenwoods to provide individual solutions
to its partners and customers due to continually extending its product
range and secondly, it enables Greenwoods to work within the short
lead times that are commonplace within the industry. |
