Greenwoods Communications
Launches E-Procurement Initiative - 25th March 2003
| |
|
 |
| Greenwoods Communications,
the UK's leading independent telecoms services company,
has launched the first stage of its e-procurement strategy.
It is now possible to browse Greenwoods' new website and
view an extensive e-catalogue of telecoms consumables
and product specifications before purchasing. Products
are now available from the company's 20,000 stocked range,
with additional items being continually added. |

Greenwoods has specifically focused its e-procurement
strategy towards telecoms operators and equipment manufacturers, with
the e-catalogue highlighting those products most relevant to this
market sector. This comprehensive one-stop-shop approach is designed
to simplify the purchasing process and improve the buying efficiency
of its telecoms customers.
Greenwoods' e-catalogue allows users to build up a list of products
and receive a quotation, place direct orders (where it has been agreed),
and view, manage and re-use previous product lists. Users can also
request special products for Greenwoods to source on their behalf.
"The new system will streamline the ordering function for our
customers and provide them with a valuable resource to get up to the
minute product information," said Steve Foster, Marketing Manager,
Greenwoods Communications. "This is just the first stage of on ongoing
commitment to providing first class e-service, support and purchasing
facilities to our customers. It compliments our services by ensuring
we are a single source for network build and related functions." |
