Greenwoods
Communications, the UK's leading independent telecoms services company,
has announced the opening of new purpose-built headquarters in Birmingham.
The 120,000 sq ft premises will bring the majority of Greenwoods'
departments together under one roof, centralising staff and warehousing.
Greenwoods enables telecoms operators and equipment manufacturers
to enjoy greater efficiency and cost management, by outsourcing non-core
business functions such as materials management, CPE (customer premise
equipment) build and staging and installation.
By physically merging Greenwoods' wide range of teams and specialities
its communication and operational processes will be optimised, to
further strengthen the company's 'turnkey' service offerings. In addition,
this centralisation provides a reduction over the previously fragmented
costs of operating multiple facilities. "As Greenwoods expands
its operations throughout Europe and beyond, it's very important for
the company to have a totally centralised HQ," said John Greenwood,
MD, Greenwoods Communications. "This move demonstrates that Greenwoods
is not afraid to re-invest in the business, to grow the company and
offer better support to our customers. The market may be struggling
at the moment, but our commitment to outsourcing and turnkey services
has not suffered as a result."
The company is committed to offering the best possible service and
value to its customers and believes this capital expenditure is justified
to not only maintain, but also increase the level of service offered
to them. |
