Greenwoods Appoints
New Head Of Data - 30th May 2002

| Greenwoods Communications,
the UK's leading independent telecom services provider,
has announced the appointment of Barry Silverman as its
new Data Products Manager. |
|
|
|
|
His main responsibility will be to expand Greenwoods's
data division by promoting its wide range of data offerings to its
existing and potential client base. Target markets range from telecoms
companies to SMEs, with Greenwoods offering data cabling services
and products for switch rooms and call centres right down to connecting
PCs to a network. Silverman brings with him more than 12 years experience
in the data cabling and networking industry.
Silverman joins Greenwoods from ABB Ltd, a provider of power and automation
technologies, where he held the position of Business Development Manager
for the data division. Prior to this, Silverman worked for the UK's
largest PC Reseller, Computacenter, designing and implementing data
cabling and network infrastructures.
"I am delighted to
be working with such a forward moving company," said Silverman. "My
aim is to turn Greenwoods's data division into one of Europe's leading
providers of data products and installation services. I will be looking
to promote these offerings into Greenwoods's existing client base
as well as looking for new prospects."
