Appoints Two New Account Managers to Further Strengthen its Position
in the UK - 31st January 2001

| Greenwoods Communications, a
leading provider of network solutions for telecoms operators
and OEM's has appointed two new account managers as part
of its strategic plan to focus on core product areas within
the market. John Rogers and Gary Whiffen have joined Greenwoods
to take up positions in product and account management
respectively. |

|
John Rogers is a product manager for the company's
customised metalwork solutions. He will be responsible for further
expanding the capabilities of Greenwoods Communications by utilising
his experience in the design and manufacture of enclosures. John is
a qualified mechanical engineer with twenty years experience in the
development, manufacture and marketing of telecommunications solutions
for the provision of enclosures, equipment practices & integration
services.
Prior to joining Greenwoods in December 2000, John was with Optima
Enclosures, part of the Pentair Inc. Group, where he was responsible
for market research and product design. He has also had extensive
experience in the contract manufacture sector, supporting the defence,
transportation and computer industries.
Gary Whiffen joins as an account manager responsible for the South-East
region. He will be supporting key UK accounts. After acquiring his
qualifications as a production engineer, Gary went on to gain experience
in all aspects of cable assembly production. He spent over ten years
working in sales and marketing at Amphenol Ltd., where his career
has covered field sales, product and project management, distribution
management and publicity.
Commenting on his new role, Gary Whiffen said: "I am very pleased
to have joined a company operating so successfully within such an
exciting and active market and believe that it will be a mutually
beneficial relationship. Greenwoods is ideally-placed to meet the
demands of the market, and my job will be to ensure that our growth
in the South-East is rapid and fruitful." |
