| Until now, engineers' tooling
audits have been paper-based and the processes involved
in the production and monitoring of them has been complicated
and time consuming. To relieve these constraints Greenwoods
has devised and launched a bespoke application for one
of the country's largest mobile carriers: information
is gathered through the engineers' completion of a user-friendly
web page, highlighting the products required to perform
their daily tasks. Once this information is received by
Greenwoods Managed Services, the data is automatically
logged in Greenwoods resource management database. |

Through the custom-built resource
system, an array of information can be held on individuals,
tools and their ordering patterns. The application will then
highlight when a tool requires calibrating or PAT testing for
example and notify the engineer by email. Cost cutting measures
are primary to this programme, enabling the customer to monitor
tooling spend by engineer through concise reporting.
Through managing customers' audits, Greenwoods brings considerable
savings to the two most valuable resources: time and money,
for both its customers and end-users. |
