New Recruits Boost
Growing Sales Force

| Greenwoods Communications
is pleased to announce the appointments of Barry Silverman
and Naomi Davies who join the company’s sales department.
Naomi joins us as internal sales administrator. A recent
International Studies and Spanish graduate from Birmingham
University, Naomi will help strengthen the internal sales
function. |

 Barry
Silverman joins as the new data product manager and comes from ABB,
a multi-national power and automation company, where he spent two
years as business development manager for the data section of the
building services division. Whilst there, Barry provided technical
support and increased penetration of ABB’s installation solution to
the UK market, supporting leading suppliers such as KRONE, Brand Rex,
Siemon and Molex systems.
In addition, Barry also undertook work on the carrier side working
with companies such as Nortel and Tellabs. Prior to working at ABB,
Barry spent ten years at Computacenter, a PC solutions company. He
was based in their enterprise networking division as part of the technical
sales team and designed data cabling networks prior to installation
for numerous blue chip companies.
Barry has supported major data suppliers throughout his career and
is an approved designer for Avaya, ITT, Molex, RW Data and Siemon
cabling systems. When asked about his appointment at Greenwoods, Barry
commented:
"I am very excited about joining such a fast
moving company. The challenge is to expand Greenwoods data range throughout
their existing client base, which in turn should drive the data installation
arm forward. Many know Greenwoods for their ability to install voice
and fibre networks but few know of our capabilities with data. There
is plenty of room for Greenwoods to grow in the data industry and
I’m looking forward to being an integral part of that growth." |
