Logistics services provided include: Storage and distribution of materials Greenwoods holds materials for a number of operators in our warehousing facility. This means that you do not have to manage costly storage facilities and can simply call off products as required for immediate delivery. Management of OEM supplied product We work with OEM's to provide facilities for pre-site work. This allows final installation to run quickly and smoothly. We also provide storage space for OEM equipment and will hold necessary quantities until required. A central point for Network Operators Many operators are looking for ways to become more efficient. Allocating internal resources to manage the supply chain is not one of them. Greenwoods Communications can act as a central contact for dealing with both OEMs and your supply chain. This will eliminate the need to deal with suppliers directly freeing up resources to concentrate on your core business. Kit provision We have a great deal of experience in the supply of kits to accompany specified products. These kits include all necessary items, from tooling to nuts and bolts, and they play a critical support role. Specialist transportation We have a fleet of satellite tracked and livered transport vehicles able to provide a specialist service. All drivers are uniformed, have full PPE, are all accredited to use mechanical handling equipment and are BT OBASS security cleared. We can transport specific items at dedicated times and can cater for fragile equipment and products that may be difficult to load/unload using electric stairwalkers to prevent unnecessary handling and damage to equipment. The movement of delicate telecom equipment can involve stringent guidelines and difficult areas in which to work. Greenwoods can also provide a site survey service to ascertain the required manpower, vehicles and equipment required to facilitate the installation or removal of equipment.
