Quality Policy and Accreditations
...............................................................................................................................
Greenwoods achieved third party accreditation to BS
EN ISO 9002 in July 1995 and we have actively striven
for continuous ongoing improvements since this time.
The company's senior management team continuously
monitors our documented system, in-line with best
working practices and is always looking to improve
our internal systems and procedures to provide greater
benefits for our customers.
As a result of these ongoing improvements,
we were rewarded with upgraded accreditation to BS
EN ISO 9001-2000 in October 2002 and to ISO9001-2008
in June 2009.
Quality
is deemed of the highest importance when working on-site.
All engineers and field based personnel go through
an initial two week training course, where they learn
the fundamental quality considerations and specific
skills. Site work is carefully inspected by team leaders
on project completion and strict checklists are followed.
For example: checks are carried out on cabling, label
identification, power, site clearance, sharp edge
elimination, cut floor tiles are edged and thorough
inspections are carried out to ensure no damage has
been caused. Following this, a report will be handed
over to the customer for final sign-off. Also where
required, a quality certified engineer will attend
site to conduct risk assessment, provide supervision
and final quality site analysis.
Health & Safety Policy and Accreditations
...............................................................................................................................
Health
and safety is important to all. Greenwoods ensures
that all employees are trained in, and aware of, all
relevant health and safety systems and work procedures,
including CDM regulations.
For
companies that regularly work in field based and often
hazardous environments, health and safety is of paramount
concern. Greenwoods Communications takes every necessary
step to ensure our employees, contractors and customers
are not put at risk. Our internal health and safety
team ensures all site based engineers and installation
technicians are trained in the latest health and safety
practices. Our internal team is NEBOSH (National Examination
Board in Occupational Safety and Health) and a member
of RoSPA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents).
Engineers and technicians who are required to work
in specialist areas receive additional training to
ensure they work within the strictest health and safety
guidelines. For example:
-
Working
at heights (includes Ladder inspection)
-
Working
in confined spaces
-
